Marcia Cotter, ASID

Interior Designer

With the educational experience from the Chamberlain School in Boston, Plymouth State University and the Boston Architectural College Marcia blends the creative aspects of the project with the business skills necessary to complete every detail.

The challenge of a multifaceted kitchen design with the accent on details to the creative fun of designing the best window treatments covers the many skill experiences to transform the client’s dream into a reality. The job at hand is not to design just a new space but to research the best parameters to guide the project into the client’s vision whether it is a residential or commercial space. As with most projects it is the research prior to the space planning or selection of finishes that needs to be outlined before the choices are selected.

Marcia’s outside interest include skiing, boating, sailing, reading group, community activities (past president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Historic Belknap Mill Society), professional associations (American Society of Interior Designers and Home Builders Association) and especially her family.

Stephanie Wentworth, Allied Member ASID

Interior Designer

How you interact with your space is so important when tackling an interior project. For window treatments questions such as light control, privacy, energy efficiency, and budget as well as design aesthetic all contribute to matching the right product with the client. I like to discuss with all users of the space how they would like to transform their space, how would they make it better, and of course are there issues with the current space that you would change to make the outcome exactly what they desire.

Stephanie joined Decorative Interiors in 2005. Prior to joining Decorative Interiors she worked in the Baker Furniture Showroom in Philadelphia. Since then she has studied interior design at the Boston Architectural College in Boston Massachusetts graduating in 2010 with a Masters Degree in Interior Design. Stephanie enjoys helping clients through the many phases of the design process for selecting products and material so that they may enjoy their space for years to come. Stephanie enjoys running, skiing and sailing and spending time with her husband and two sons!
